Germany's Rheinmetall made no mistake in choosing a strategy to expand missile production. The defense company says that developments in Iran and the Middle East confirm this.
Where will Rheinmetall produce missiles?
Rheinmetall said the war in Iran confirms its plans to expand missile production as quickly as possible to meet rapidly growing demand, Reuters writes.
The company considers its location ideal to play a key role as an industrial partner in the rocket and component industry.
New production facilities for missiles and rocket engines will be built at Rheinmetall's Unterluß plant in Germany: construction is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2027. Missiles will also be produced at a Spanish plant in Burgos.
Rheinmetall said its initiatives are a response to limited production capacity in the West.
