Minister Reznikov: Ukraine, NATO reach unprecedented levels of intererability
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Defense Minister eksii Reznikov on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Excellent discussion with NATO Secretary General Jens Sttenberg. I expressed my gratitude to him for coordinating the Alliance’s assistance to Ukraine. On the eve of the Vilnius summit, a number of concrete projects were discussed. I’m happy to have a green light for our close coeration with NSPA, NATO’s procurement agency. This will include the National Procurement Review and best-in-the-league advice to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry,” Reznikov wrote.
In his words, Ukraine needs excellent defense procurement both to win the war and to be efficient in the future.
“Ukraine has reached unprecedented levels of intererability with NATO. We are, de facto, already a part of the Alliance’s security space. I expressed my he that this would expedite pitical decisions regarding our country's NATO integration,” Reznikov noted.
A reminder that, on April 21, 2023, the 11th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group is taking place at the U.S. Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
