Warsaw seeks sution to resume transit of Ukrainian agricultural products to Eure

The Ukrainian-Pish talks regarding the import and transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of Pand continue in Warsaw on Tuesday.

According to Pish Agriculture and Rural Develment Minister Robert Telus, the parties are seeking a sution that would allow them to resume the transit of Ukrainian-produced grain through the territory of Pand to third countries, an Ukrinform correspondent reports, referring to Pskie Radio.

Telus mentioned that the negotiations lasted yesterday and would continue today. These are typical technical discussions to find a sution and resume transit erations towards Eure.

On Monday, both delegations held a meeting with the invvement of Prime Minister of the Republic of Pand Mateusz Morawiecki.

Telus noted that no food products had been imported from Ukraine into Pand’s territory since April 15, 2023. In his words, Pand is hding talks with the Eurean Commission and Ukraine to find a corresponding sution.

“We want these products to go to Eure, because it is important, but we want them to go deeper into Eure instead of staying within our country. It is necessary to find a sution that will ensure this,” Telus stressed.

In his inion, not only Pish farmers but also those in the EU should bear the costs of providing aid to Ukraine.

Telus added that talks between Pand and the Eurean Commission are difficult but, after Warsaw’s decisive actions, Brussels is making efforts to resve the issue.
