In previous years, the authorities have published a number of tips on what to do in the event of power outages:

  • first of all, you should turn off electrical appliances;
  • You need to be careful when using candles and dry alcohol;
  • If you are outside, do not come closer than 5-8 meters to broken or sagging wires.

In addition, Ukrainians are asked to reduce electricity consumption in the evening from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. The use of powerful electrical appliances should be limited: washing machines, boilers, irons, electric stoves, heaters, etc. It is also not recommended to turn on several powerful electrical appliances at the same time.
