MFA Ukraine: 50 Ukrainians recover from COVID-19 abroad, 152 undergoing treatment

Seven Ukrainians died from coronavirus abroad.

Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) says 50 Ukrainians have recovered from the novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, abroad, while 152 are undergoing treatment.

Of the 50 Ukrainians who have recovered, there are 22 in Greece, six in Poland, four each in Japan and the Dominican Republic, two each in Italy and Nigeria, and one each in Belgium, the United Kingdom, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Sweden, and Switzerland, according to the ministry’s update on the coronavirus as of 18:00 Kyiv time on April 19.

Seven Ukrainians died from coronavirus abroad, the report said.

A total of 152 Ukrainians are being treated abroad, namely in Australia, Austria, Spain, Italy, China, Malta, Nigeria, the UAE, Portugal, Russia, the Seychelles, Serbia, the U.S., Thailand, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Sweden.
