Labor market: unusual vacancies in Ukraine

There are also professions on the market that many people don't even know exist, writes the State Employment Service.

Here are some of the most unusual suggestions:

1. Copywriter

This work is still relevant in industrial enterprises. Where there are mountains of drawings, diagrams, acts and technical documentation, a separate person is needed to copy them. This is one of the basic professions in the production sector – along with dozens of other simple specialties.

2. Egg ovoscopist

An employee checks the eggs using an ovoscope, a special device that shines light through them and helps detect cracks, defects, or determine freshness. It is thanks to such specialists that buyers rarely find anything unexpected in the box.

3. Careerist

The name may be misleading, but this is not an HR consultant. A quarry worker works in a quarry – a mining operation. He performs basic operations: he digs the ground, moves the rock, and assists in the mining process.

4. Money collector

We are not talking about bank cashiers, but about people who operate toy machines, turnstiles, or payment devices in shopping malls and supermarkets. They are the ones who regularly withdraw cash from there.

5. Micanite gluer

This is a specialist who applies electrical insulating material (micanite) to parts of electrical machines, transformers, or heaters. His job is to make the equipment safe for further operation.
