Rada exempts imports of defense goods from customs duties, VAT
The relevant bills No. 9061 and No. 9062 were supported by a total of 317 and 316 MPs, Ukrinform reports, citing the Telegram channel of MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The documents exempt goods from import duty and value added tax if they belong to the Ministry of Defense, the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and other military formations.

The laws will improve foreign economic projects to meet the critical needs of the Defense Forces in weapons, military equipment, and ammunition.
As reported, in March 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adted a resution that simplified the procedure for importing components for drones into Ukraine during martial law.
