Ukraine is waiting for signals for trilateral talks — Zelensky

There are currently no necessary signals for a trilateral meeting due to the security situation around Iran. At the same time, Ukraine continues daily communication with the United States and is ready to resume diplomatic work as soon as it becomes possible.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy after a conversation with Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov.

Zelenskyy emphasized that as soon as the security situation and the general political context allow this particular format of diplomatic work to continue, it will be resumed.

“Ukraine is ready for this,” the president emphasized.

Separately, the president thanked intelligence, the Office of the President, and all services involved for the steps that make it possible to prepare further prisoner exchanges.

On March 3, in an interview with the Italian publication Corriere Della Sera, President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed hope that the US attack on Iran would not affect the trilateral negotiations with Russia.

He also noted that the next round is due to take place on March 5 or 6.

On March 4, a source for Suspilny in the Ukrainian delegation reported that the next round of trilateral talks between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States does not yet have an exact date and venue.
