China agrees nuclear arms must be off table in “conflict in Ukraine” – Macron

Macron also emphasized that the Eurean security architecture was “not possible” as long as Ukraine is occupied.

The Chinese president, for his part, said China sought to avoid "escalation in Ukraine," and called for the speedy resumption of peace talks to resve the "crisis in Ukraine."
As Ukrinform reported earlier, French President Emmanuel Macron, before the start of negotiations with his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, called on the China leader to influence Russia and help end the war in Ukraine.
