Noam Bettan was born and raised in Raanana, Israel, to a family of French immigrants. The singer speaks Hebrew, English, and French.
The boy began his musical career at the age of 8, and released his debut album in 2023. Bettan has also created a series of hits that topped the official Israeli radio charts and collected millions of streams on streaming platforms. In 2018, the singer participated in the music reality show Aviv or Eyal, where he took 3rd place.

It is worth noting that Israel's participation in the 70th Eurovision Song Contest was in question, with many artists and fans calling on the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to disqualify the country due to the war with Hamas in Gaza.
However, in early December 2025, the European Broadcasting Union did allow Israel to participate in Eurovision 2026. Because of this, several countries boycotted the contest: Spain, the Netherlands, Slovenia, and Iceland.
