A local man was detained in the village of Tarasivka, Fastiv district, Kyiv region, for a fight and shooting in a store. Law enforcement officers also found ammunition at his residence. The suspect faces up to seven years in prison.

According to law enforcement, a conflict broke out between two men in a shopping pavilion in the village of Tarasivka the other day. After an argument, a 35-year-old local resident punched a 26-year-old store employee in the face, fired a gun at the floor, and fled.
The police officers who arrived at the call searched for the suspect.
“Later, during an urgent search of the perpetrator's residence, police officers, together with explosives disposal officers, seized a hand grenade and a detonator,” the report says.
The man is currently in pre-trial detention. He was charged with hooliganism and illegal possession of weapons.
