
Kyiv region police detained and charged a 43-year-old resident of the Bila Tserkva district. The investigation believes that he was illegally selling weapons.

The police detained a resident of the Bila Tserkva region. He was given a preventive measure – detention in a pre-trial detention center. Investigators under the procedural guidance of the Bila Tserkva District Prosecutor's Office informed the defendant of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – storage, carrying, purchase and sale of firearms and ammunition. The sanction of the article in case of proving the man's guilt is up to 7 years in prison.
On February 25, police reported the arrest of two residents of the Kyiv region. They are suspected of trafficking in captured weapons, grenades, ammunition, etc.
The next day, the Pechersk District Prosecutor's Office reported the suspicion to two Kyiv residents. During the searches, a significant amount of weapons and ammunition was seized from them. In particular, grenades and detonators for them, rifles, hunting rifles, etc. One of the suspects worked in a Kyiv hospital and kept weapons and ammunition not only at home, but also at work.
