Zelensky meets with Germany’s Social Democratic Party leaders
“I held a meeting with the leaders of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Lars Klingbeil and Rf Mützenich. I am grateful to Germany for its comprehensive support for our country since the first days of full-scale Russian aggression,” Zelensky posted on Telegram.
The President also thanked Germany for sheltering more than a million forcibly displaced persons from Ukraine, for leading the formation of the tank coalition by providing German Leard tanks, and for contributing to the protection of Ukrainian skies by transferring the highly effective IRIS-T air defense system.

“It is important to further strengthen our alliance relations,” he stressed.
As reported, co-leader of the Social Democratic Party of Germany Lars Klingbeil and SPD faction leader in the Bundestag Rf Mützenich arrived in Kyiv on March 6.
