Prices for vegetables and fruits changed unevenly over the week: some products became cheaper, others more expensive. After a short-term increase, carrots returned to their previous prices, while lettuce significantly increased in value.
How have vegetable prices changed over the past week?
After a slight increase last week, carrot prices have dropped back to their previous level (from 9-15 to 9-13 hryvnias per kilogram), EastFruit reports. At the same time, green onions continued to fall in price (from 250-280 to 200-220 hryvnias per kilogram).
According to analysts, lettuce has noticeably increased in price during procurement (from 230-270 to 300-350 hryvnias per kilogram).
The fruit market was dominated by a price increase trend. Lemons (from 110-120 to 120-130 hryvnias per kilogram) and oranges (from 60-100 to 60-140 hryvnias per kilogram) became more expensive, as did persimmons (from 65-105 to 95-105 hryvnias per kilogram) and bananas , which were sold more expensively than a week earlier (from 60-65 to 65-75 hryvnias per kilogram).
In addition, the price of garden strawberries has increased (from 400-650 to 430-650 hryvnias per kilogram). At the same time, pomegranates have become cheaper (from 140-180 to 140-170 hryvnias per kilogram), and the price range for tangerines has expanded (from 70-130 to 60-150 hryvnias per kilogram).
