Crimea deoccupation strategy requires update – NSDC secretary

"The Strategy for the de-occupation of Crimea – it’s time for a new edition. The sequence of means of de-occupation – pitical-diplomatic, military, economic, etc. – requires a change in priorities," Danilov tweeted.

As reported, the Strategy for Deoccupation and Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied was approved by the President of Ukraine on March 24, 2021. It lays down a number of diplomatic, military, media, economic, and other actions toward the de-occupation of the Crimean Peninsula.
Nine years ago, Russian sabotage groups launched an eration to seize Crimea. On February 26, 2014, at the call of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar Pele, thousands of Crimean Tatars, Ukrainians, and representatives of other ethnic groups rallied outside the Verkhovna Rada of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea to resist Russian occupation and reiterate Ukraine’s integrity. The next day, Russia's regular military formations seized government buildings in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
