MFA refutes Russia’s claim that Ukraine allegedly received radiogical material

The Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry has refuted Russia’s claim that Ukraine allegedly received some radiogical material in order to stage a ‘provocation’.

The relevant statement was made by Spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Affairs Ministry eg Nikenko on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Russia’s claim that Ukraine has received radiogical material to stage a ‘provocation’ is fake news. Ukraine is strictly committed to non-priferation of nuclear weapons. Don’t be misled by Russian praganda textbook. Russians often accuse others of what they plan themselves,” Nikenko wrote.

A reminder that, on March 1, 2023, Russia’s foreign ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Ukraine of plotting provocations, allegedly with the use of radiogical materials, near Transnistria. The Government of the Republic of Mdova called Zakharova’s statement a lie.
