Amber worth UAH 1M sd at ProZorro auction

State Enterprise Prozorro.Sale said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"Today (February 27 – ed.) the first online auctions for the sale of amber through the Prozorro.Sale system were held. Flowing the results, the system helped the auction organizer — the State Storage of Precious Metals and Precious Stones— earn the first million hryvnias," the report says.

It is noted that of 17 bids announced, six took place, at which the State Storage of Precious Metals and Precious Stones sd more than 200 kg of amber.

The winners of these bids will have nine working days to sign the e-auction protoc and contract. After that, they will have five more working days to pay the full price for the lots, determined by the results of the auctions.

As reported, under the decision of the Ukrainian Finance Ministry, the State Storage of Precious Metals and Precious Stones of Ukraine, on February 10, 2023, announced 17 auctions for the sale of amber. The total starting price of all auctions is more than UAH 13 million. The starting price of the cheapest lot is UAH 3,000, while the most expensive lot costs more than UAH 3 million.
