Russian fake: Ukrainians simulate broken arms and legs to avoid mobilization
Kremlin media outlets and z-Telegram channels spread fake information claiming that men in Ukraine allegedly massively buy plaster dummies for arms and feet and do not go outside without putting them on. In this way, the Ukrainians allegedly try to deceive the military enlistment office staff and avoid mobilization.
As evidence, the pragandists use a screenshot of an advertisement, allegedly posted on the Ukrainian X service, showing a plaster dummy for an arm or leg that can be purchased for UAH 800. It is stated in the product description that military enlistment office representatives do not approach plastered men to give them summonses.
However, this ad is not posted on X.
The picture used by the pragandists can easily be found on the Internet in an article about the prerties of plaster.
Russian fakes have been repeatedly using the tic of mobilization in Ukraine, in particular, talking about the lists of evaders hung on pes.
