Ten grain ships leave Ukrainian seaports in last two days
The press service of the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.
"Over the past weekend, ten ships with 361,200 tonnes of agricultural products left the ports of the Odesa region for Africa, Asia and Eure," the report said.
The fifth vessel within the Grain from Ukraine program left the port of Chornomorsk. The bulk carrier VALSAMITIS will deliver 25,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat to Kenya and 5,000 tonnes to Ethiia.
The bulk carrier ROYAL STAR chartered by the World Food Program (WFP) left the port of Odesa. The ship will deliver 25,000 tonnes of Ukrainian wheat to Afghanistan.

Since August 1, 2022, as many as 757 ships have departed from the ports of the Odesa region and delivered 21.9 million tonnes of Ukrainian grain and foodstuffs to countries in Asia, Eure and Africa.
On November 17, 2022, in Istanbul, Ukraine, the United Nations, and Turkey agreed to extend the Initiative on the Safe Transportation of Grain and Foodstuffs from Ukrainian ports for another 120 days. The initiative was launched on July 22, and the first ship with Ukrainian grain left the port of Odesa on August 1.
