TikTok exposes Russian disinformation network
That’s according to Bloomberg referring to TikTok's statement, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
Over the summer, the network targeted thousands of Eurean users, the article says.
It is noted that, while the network erated on the territory of Russia, it was mainly designed to influence the minds of those living in Germany, Italy, and Great Britain, delivering messages in the three respective languages.

About 1,700 accounts that were part of the network were spreading anti-Ukrainian narratives, posing as accounts created by local users, Bloomberg says.
Between July and September of 2022, these fake accounts attracted 133,564 flowers. At the moment, it is unclear whether the ring was affiliated with the Russian government.
The TikTok press service emphasized that all accounts that were part of the disinformation network had been deleted.
As the agency previously reported, the Eurean Commission warned Twitter against lowering the company standards in fighting disinformation.
