Eurean Council president invites Zelensky to Brussels summit

President of the Eurean Council Charles Michel invited President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky to participate in person in a special meeting of the Eurean Council, which is to be held in Brussels on February 9-10, 2023.

Barend Leyts, spokesman for the Eurean Council president, announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“The Eurean Council president has invited President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky to participate in person in a future summit of the Eurean Council. For security reasons, no further information will be provided,” the spokesperson wrote.

As earlier reported, a special meeting of the Eurean Council will be held in Brussels on February 9-10. The heads of state and government of the EU countries will consider the issues of economy, migration, as well as the continuation of support for Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression.
