The fruit and vegetable market is recording mixed price dynamics: some items are becoming more expensive, while others are becoming cheaper due to increased supply. At the same time, the start of sales of new greenhouse cucumbers has traditionally supported the high level of prices in this segment.
How has the cost of vegetables changed over the week?
In Ukraine, the price of carrots began to rise last week (from 9-13 to 9-15 hryvnias per kilogram), EastFruit analysts report. At the same time, amid an increase in supply, the price of beets decreased (from 9-13 to 9-15 hryvnias per kilogram).
Last week, several greenhouse plants in Ukraine began selling new-generation cucumbers , the prices of which are traditionally higher than imported ones. As a result, the maximum price level for these products increased (in a week, they rose from 140-170 to 140-180 hryvnias per kilogram).
Garlic has become more expensive (from 60-125 to 115-125 hryvnias per kilogram), and green onions have become cheaper (from 340-360 to 250-280 hryvnias per kilogram).
Please note! Grape prices have been decreasing for the third week in a row (from 60-170 to 60-165 hryvnias per kilogram).
