A fire broke out in a beauty salon in the Pechersk district of Kyiv. A generator installed in the premises caught fire.
This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
“Rescuers quickly extinguished the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries,” the report says.
The State Emergency Service once again emphasized that the generator can only be installed outdoors – at least 6 meters from doors and windows. During operation, it emits carbon monoxide, which is deadly to life and should never be allowed indoors.
