In Kyiv, within the last seven days, there has been a registration of 12,290 fresh instances of the flu and acute viral respiratory ailments, inclusive of COVID-19. Sadly, there have been three fatalities resulting from associated issues: two as a result of the flu, and one from COVID-19.

In the capital, a count of 12,290 novel occurrences of the flu along with severe respiratory viral infections, which includes COVID-19, have been documented within the past week. There have also been three recorded deaths – two individuals succumbed to complications related to the flu, while one perished from COVID-19 related issues. The rate of sickness reached 416.3, showing a decline of 31.8% compared to the typical intensity level. Nevertheless, the rate of infection saw an uptick of 7.4% during the specified week in contrast to the week prior (affecting both grown-ups and younger people).
A total of 6,796 adults and 5,494 children were affected. Amongst students, 2,593 new instances came to light.
COVID-19 affected 24 individuals, which includes three juveniles below 17 years of age.
A sum of 452 individuals suffering from influenza and acute respiratory viral infections required hospitalization at healthcare facilities, with 248 of them being children. For those with COVID-19, 10 people were admitted to hospitals, with 1 child under the age of 17 among them.
There were 2 adult patients diagnosed with COVID-19 receiving care in the intensive treatment unit.
Over the course of the week, medical professionals also noted three unfortunate demises: two stemming from influenza-related complications, and one from issues linked to COVID-19.
