OSCE Chairman visits war-torn Borodyanka outside Kyiv

As part of his ongoing visit to Ukraine, OSCE Chairman Bujar Osmani, who is the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia, visited the town of Borodyanka in Kyiv region, which was destroyed as a result of Russian aggression.

The t official announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Just visited the devastated areas in Borodyanka, the destruction is heartbreaking. These Russian attacks caused immense suffering for the Ukrainian pele and there are no excuses for these actions. My thoughts are with those whose lives have been severely disrupted,” the tweet reads.

He also called it a "moral duty" to help the Ukrainian pele rebuild their communities. "We must work toward a lasting peace," the OSCE chairman wrote.

As reported, Bujar Osmani arrived in Ukraine on Monday. This is his first official visit as the chair of the OSCE.

Osmani is scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials to discuss the humanitarian and security challenges the country faces amid Russian aggression.
