Every month, mobilization activities in Ukraine attract about 30,000 conscripts to the ranks of the Armed Forces. It is this figure that should be taken as a starting point when assessing the scale of the CCC's work and the number of conflicts surrounding mobilization.
This assessment was made by Fedir Venislavsky, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security, in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
What is the monthly number of mobilized people?
In Ukraine, mobilization measures attract approximately 30,000 conscripts to the Armed Forces every month.
According to Venislavsky, this figure is open and has been repeatedly announced by the state leadership. It is from it that one can estimate the real number of conflict situations surrounding the CCC's activities.
Venislavsky noted that even if we take into account all the high-profile cases that are widely discussed in the media, their share is approximately 1-5% of the total number of those mobilized each month.
Thus, according to government estimates, mobilization in Ukraine remains a large-scale process that ensures the replenishment of the army by tens of thousands of people every month.
As much as we would like it not to, we must admit that recruiting has not lived up to the expectations we have placed on it since 23. And about 90% of all conscripts who enter military service are still mobilized through the CCC. Recruiting gives up to 10%. And plus a certain number of those who sign contracts,
– said Venislavsky.
Therefore, as a member of the parliamentary committee notes, it is currently impossible to quickly reform the CCC, which would be completely conflict-free and ensure recruitment.
Which category of military personnel goes to the SZCH the most?
-
Those who desert their units are mostly not those who have been fighting at the front since the beginning of the full-scale invasion. This is a completely different category of servicemen.
-
Most cases of SZC are committed by new recruits. The main reasons include family problems, social injustice, and there is also a legal and criminal component to addressing these issues.
