Due to war, farmers’s harvest lower by third against last year in Dnipretrovsk region
Head of Dnipretrovsk regional administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported the news on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"In 2022, our farmers harvested more than 3 million tonnes of grain – wheat, barley, rye, oats, and corn. Also, more than 1.3 million tonnes of sunflower and rapeseed. The harvest is a third lower than last year's record," he wrote.

The administration calls the indicators “average,” but they assure that there will be more than enough grain.
For the 2023 harvest, farmers sowed almost 640,000 hectares of winter crs.
"It's a little less than planned. The rains came in our way. In the spring, wheat, barley, corn, and sunflower will occupy the free areas," the head of the region noted.
