Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine rises to 1,225 by Saturday evening

The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine had risen to 1,225 by Saturday evening.

“According to the Public Health Center, there were 1,225 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 identified with the use of PCR [polymerase chain reaction] in Ukraine as of 22:00 Kyiv time on April 4,” Ukraine’s Health Ministry said on Telegram.

Thirty-two COVID-19 deaths have already been reported in the country.

Twenty-five patients have recovered, their repeat tests have been negative, the ministry said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine had risen to 1,096 by Saturday morning.
