National pice ens more than 52,600 criminal proceedings over Russian crimes in Ukraine
This is said in a report issued by the press service of the National Pice, according to Ukrinform.
"Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the National Pice investigators have initiated 52,613 inquiries into the crimes committed by service members of the armed forces of the Russian Federation and their accomplices in Ukraine," the report says.
In particular, 41,039 cases were ened under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Viation of laws and customs of war), 9,162– Art. 110 (Encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviability of Ukraine), 2,224 – Art. 111-1 (Claborative activities), 103 – Art. 111 (High treason), 37 – Art. 113 (Sabotage), etc.
In addition, pice officers have ened 53 criminal proceedings on the facts of sexual vience committed by Russian military personnel.
As reported, the Ministry of Internal Affairs on December 23 announced that the pice had ened 50,858 cases related to Russian crimes in Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.
