Major capacity deficit in Ukraine’s power system remains in place – erator
That’s according to NEC Ukrenergo, the power system erator, Ukrinform reports.

It is noted that due to exceeding caps, emergency shutdowns have been introduced in Dnipretrovsk, Zaporizhia, Kharkiv, Lviv, and Kyiv regions, as well as in the city of Kyiv.
Repair works are ongoing at generation facilities and across power grids. Due to the scale and complexity of destruction, repairing the equipment and restoring erations of a number of key facilities requires considerable time.
As reported, in the early hours of Monday, December 19, Russia launched another group of kamikaze drones targeting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Ukraine shot down 30 UAVs out of 35 launched.
Regular missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian energy facilities have been ongoing since October 10.
