Russia’s hybrid military forces on April 2 mounted 11 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

“The armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 11 times on April 2,” the press center of Ukraine’s Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on April 3, 2020.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the town of Avdiyivka, and the villages of Spartak, Kashtanove, Mineralne, Pavlopil, Pisky, Sakhanka, Shyrokyne, Bohdanivka, and Starohnativka.

“Since Friday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions near the village of Novotoshkivske, using 120mm mortars,” the update said.

No casualties were reported in Ukrainian Army ranks on Friday morning.
