Last week, the Ukrainian market recorded a predominantly increase in vegetable prices. In the fruit segment, trends were mixed – some items rose in price, while others continued to fall in price.
How have vegetable prices changed in Ukraine?
Vegetable prices in Ukraine have been mostly rising in the past week, EastFruit reports. Table beets have started to rise in price (from 7-9 to 7-10 hryvnias per kilogram).
After a slight decrease last week, cucumber prices have started to rise again (from 120-130 to 140-170 hryvnias per kilogram). The cost of a kilogram of sweet pepper increased (from 145-160 to 180-200 hryvnias per kilogram) and hot pepper (from 100-180 to 190-210 hryvnias per kilogram). Peking cabbage was sold more expensive than a week earlier (from 22-25 to 25-30 hryvnias per kilogram).
At the same time, prices for broccoli decreased (from 190-210 to 160-170 hryvnias per kilogram). The prices of garlic (from 50-120 to 60-125 hryvnias per kilogram) and green onions increased.
Which fruits have become more expensive?
The fruit segment was marked by an increase in the price of apples (from 15-35 to 30-45 hryvnias per kilogram). Grape prices continue to decline (from 140-180 to 60-170 hryvnias per kilogram). Tangerines have become more expensive (from 60-100 to 70-130 hryvnias per kilogram), and oranges have become cheaper.
Prices for persimmons and pomegranates began to rise. Kiwi was sold more expensive than a week earlier (from 110-170 to 140-180 hryvnias per kilogram).
