Where is Alexey Kuznetsov from?
Alexey Kuznetsov was born in the city of Makiivka, in the Donetsk region. From childhood, he showed a singing talent, and at the age of 12 he realized that he wanted to be an opera singer. He studied at a music school and graduated from the guitar class.
After graduating from school, Oleksiy entered the Donetsk Music College for academic vocals. While still studying, he went to do an internship at the Donetsk Opera and Ballet Theater.
Participation in “X-Factor” and the beginning of a musical career
At the age of 19, Alexey Kuznetsov took part in the Donetsk casting for the first season of the show “X-Factor”. After his performance of the composition Adagio, the audience gave him a standing ovation, and the judges gave the guy four “yeses”.

The young vocalist got into the team of singer Yolka. He demonstrated incredible results on the project, and in the final he sang in a duet with Italian singer Alessandro Safina. Alex managed to win and win 2 million hryvnias.

What is known about the family and the move to the USA?
Even before “X Factor”, Alexey Kuznetsov met ballerina Kateryna Semenova, who taught ballet and worked as a model. Later, the couple had an affair, and they got married.
Around 2015, the couple decided to emigrate to the United States and start their lives over. The main reason for moving, Oleksiy said, was that it was difficult for him to develop his career in Ukraine. In 2019, the husband admitted that it was easier for him to realize himself in America.
Classical music is very poorly developed in Ukraine. Although theaters and artists are trying to attract more and more new listeners, the system they work under is long outdated. There are many talents in Ukraine, most of whom live and perform abroad. I think this is wrong,

We should add that in October 2021, Alexei Kuznetsov said that his mother remained to live in the occupied part of the Donetsk region. She did not want to move to Ukraine. In the comments under one of his recent posts, the singer admitted that his mother had passed away.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, Alexei Kuznetsov did not remain silent, condemned Russia and demonstrated support for his native country. He and his colleagues founded the charity foundation HelpUkraine.
The singer personally came to Ukraine, volunteered, and transported humanitarian aid. His foundation continues to operate.
However, the situation has changed today. There is support, but it is more difficult to get, and you often have to wait for months. This is largely due to the fact that there are many political issues that distract attention from what is happening outside the country.
