“Almost 40 trucks with mobile energy equipment were purchased with funds from the National Reserve. The first deliveries have already gone to where they are most needed today,” he said.

Thus, according to the minister, 16 trucks have been sent to Kyiv. These are 4 cogeneration units with a capacity of 2.3 MW each. Their cost is 241.8 million hryvnias. And another 21 trucks are heading to the Kharkiv region: the region will receive 3 cogeneration units with a capacity of 4.3 MW each and a cost of 304.3 million. The total capacity of the equipment already delivered is over 22 MW.

Kuleba noted that in addition, high-power generators with a total capacity of over 100 MW have been contracted – the first of them have already arrived in Kyiv.

He also explained that the National Reserve of Mobile and Modular Energy Equipment is a tool created by the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development together with the Recovery Agency. It allows for prompt support of communities during accidents, repairs or as a result of Russian attacks. Previously, Kuleba stated that Ukraine received more than 700 units of energy equipment with a capacity of about one gigawatt from partners.
