In addition, his concerts in many cities were canceled without specific reasons. According to other propaganda publications, the decision to ban entry was made “in the interests of the country's national security.” Saburov allegedly laundered money earned in Russia.
The press also published data on Saburov's multi-million dollar fortune in Russia: someone indicates an amount of over 60 million rubles, others write about 160 million rubles (about 48 million hryvnias): a two-story house and several luxury cars.

- The comedian moved to Russia from Kazakhstan in 2014, and since then his popularity has been growing. He gained the greatest fame thanks to the show “What Happened Next?”.
- Nurlan Saburov did not react to the start of the full-scale invasion and tried to remain silent. At one of his speeches in Los Angeles, a man from the audience called on Saburov to speak out. He replied that he had reasons not to speak about his position publicly.
- At another concert, an activist in a white dress with red spots ran up to Saburov. This symbolized the murders of Ukrainians by Russia. To this, the comedian reacted as follows: ” Excuse me, is this menstruation? ” This phrase of his made Ukrainians understand Saburov's cynical and indifferent attitude towards the bloody war.
- But Saburov's subsequent statements did not please the Russians either. In particular, he joked about citizens of the aggressor country moving en masse to Kazakhstan.
