The Norwegian biathlon team has announced the team's lineup for the first race of the 2026 Olympic Games. This was reported on the official website of the Norwegian Olympic Committee.

The Norwegian team enters the 2026 Olympics as the reigning champions in the mixed relay. In 2022, the Norwegians won gold, represented by the Bø brothers, who retired at the end of last season, as well as Marte Olsby-Royselland and Tiril Ekgoff.

In 2026, the Norwegian team in the mixed relay will have a completely new lineup compared to the 2022 team. In the men's stages, Vetle Kristiansen and Martin Uldal will run for Norway, and in the women's stages, Caroline Knotten and Maren Kirkeide.

The team did not include Johan-Olav Botn, who was the overall World Cup leader in 2025 and is the current holder of the Great Crystal Globe. Both athletes fell ill in early 2026 and, as reported by the federation, are not ready to participate at the top level at the first start of the Games.
