Ukraine’s Interior Minister Avakov doesn’t rule out that the ongoing quarantine in the country may last until the middle of May 2020.

He suggested that Ukraine “like the rest of Europe, should be in quarantine for at least two months,” the Ukrayinska Pravda online newspaper said.

Asked to clarify whether it will be two months from the beginning of the existing quarantine, or additional two months, Avakov answered: “Until the second half of May, I think.”

As UNIAN reported, there were 645 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 as of 22:00 Kyiv time on March 31. The death toll from the coronavirus grew to 17 cases.
