Ukraine, NATO commanders discuss situation on battlefield

The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valer Zaluzhnyi, has held a phone call with Supreme Allied Commander Eure, General Christher G. Cavi, to discuss the situation on the frontlines.

Zaluzhnyi said this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"I had a conversation with General Christher Cavi, Supreme Allied Commander Eure and Commander of the United States Eurean Command. We discussed the situation on the battlefield. It is intense, but contrled. The enemy tripled the intensity of hostilities on certain areas of the front – up to 80 attacks daily. Due to the courage and prowess of our warriors we are hding the line," he wrote.

During the conversation, both parties also noted the problem of Russian missile attacks and the employment of attack drones. According to Zaluzhnyi, Ukraine's partners realize the necessity to supply air and missile defense systems to the country and are making significant efforts to do so.
