Sivokho dismissed from post of advisor to NSDC secretary

Serhiy Sivokho has been dismissed from the post of an advisor to the secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Detector.media says that’s according to the NSDC’s response to journalists’ inquiry. Another aide, Maksym Tkachenko, has also left an advisor’s post.

Sivokho is known as a comedian, showman and producer. He was appointed to the NSDC in October 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier that 19 people’s deputies with the Servant of the People faction appealed to National Security and Defense Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov to dismiss his aide Serhiy Sivokho over the latter’s claim of an “internal conflict” in Ukraine which fits into Russia’s propaganda narrative as the Kremlin has been denying its military presence in eastern Ukraine’s Donbas.

Maksym Tkachenko was director and co-owner of Kvartal-Concert LLC that’s part of the Kvartal Group and the New Freedom theater and concert agency. Also, he had led the Master Show company in the city of Luhansk until 2014. In the 2019 early parliamentary elections, Tkachenko became a Member of Parliament with the Servant of the People faction.
