Russian forces shell Sumy region twice on Sunday, killing one person
Dmytro Zhyvytskyi, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
After 16:30, the Russians struck the Bilillia community. The village of Vfyne came under fire. The enemy used field artillery. A total of six explosions were recorded.
Between 17:45 and 18:00, the invaders began shelling the village with a mortar, with 46 120mm shells hitting the settlement.
According to Zhyvytskyi, a local resident born in 1940 was killed in the attack.
A local farm was also seriously damaged by enemy fire as about a hundred pigs and a horse were killed. Two grain storage facilities, a water tower, a mill, premises of a pig farm, outbuildings, three wheeled tractors and a ZIL truck were damaged.
