Armed Forces of Ukraine repel enemy attacks near six settlements

This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06:00, September 18, published on Facebook.

As noted, the enemy continues to focus its efforts on attempts to fully occupy Donetsk region, organize defense and hd the captured territories, as well as disrupt the active actions of the Ukrainian tros in certain directions. The invaders fire on the Ukrainian positions along the contact line, take measures to regroup units in certain directions, deploy reserves, and do not st conducting aerial reconnaissance.

The enemy continues to shell the houses of civilians and civilian infrastructure objects, viating the norms of International Humanitarian Law, the laws and customs of war.

Over the past 24 hours, the Russian occupiers launched six missile strikes and 28 airstrikes, more than 90 MLRS attacks at military and civilian objects in the territory of Ukraine.

The infrastructure of more than 30 settlements, including Kharkiv, Dvorichna, Kamyanka, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka, Neskuchne, Uspenivka, Myriubivka, Biliayivka, Vysokillia, Mykaiv, was damaged. The enemy hit civilian objects on the outskirts of Zaporizhzhia, as well as the towns of Chuhuiv and Kramatorsk, causing civilian casualties. There is still a threat of airstrikes and missile strikes throughout the territory of Ukraine.

In Vyn and Pissya directions, the situation has not changed significantly.

In other directions, the enemy ened fire from tanks, mortars and artillery of various types, namely:

In Siversky direction – in Huta-Studenetska district of Chernihiv region;

In Kharkiv direction – in the areas of the settlements of Kozacha Lan, Htivka, Strelecha, Vysoka Yaruha, Vovchansk, Hatyshche, Budarky, Dvorichna, Kupyansk, Kamyanka. Fire was also ened from the territory of the Russian Federation;

In Kramatorsk direction – Raihorodok, Ozerne, Piskunivka, Kryva Luka, Siversk, Mykaivka, Verkhniokamyanske, Spirne and Vesele;

In Bakhmut direction – Rozdivka, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Sedar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dyna, Zaitseve, Odradivka, Mykayivka Druha, Mayorsk, and New York;

In Avdiivka direction – Kamyanka, Avdiivka, Vodiane, ytne and Krasnohorivka;

In Zaporizhzhia direction – Kamyanske, Stepove, Orikhiv, Huliaypilske, Bilohirya, hivske, Temyrivka Novosilka, Velyka Novosilka, Neskuchne, Prechystivka, and Vuhledar;

In Southern Buh direction, the enemy ened fire along the entire contact line. More than 20 settlements came under fire, in particular, Trudiubivka, Petrivka, Bila Krynytsia, Lozove, Blahodativka, Shyroke, Partyzanske, Ternovi Pody, Lymany, Myrne, and Tavrske.

In the temporarily captured territory of Kherson region, the occupiers continue illegal actions against the civilian pulation. Thus, information was received about the mass eviction of residents from their private homes in Pryozerne and Tryfonivka. In the area of ​​ Chonhar, the Russians force the local pulation to fortify the positions, threatening them with death.

According to updated information, when the occupiers were retreating from Kharkiv region, the units of the 11th army corps of the Baltic Fleet of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation lost more than 50% of their personnel and more than 200 units of military equipment.

In addition, the 64th separate motorized rifle brigade of the eastern military district lost more than 90% of its personnel in the killed, wounded, deserters, and those dismissed as a result of refusing to participate in hostilities.

The occupiers suffered significant losses when they attempted to assault the Ukrainian positions in Avdiivka direction. According to the available information, more than 30 pele from Russia’s 1st army corps are admitted to the medical facilities every day. The occupying power is trying in every way to restore the fighting capacity of units that have suffered losses.

Over the past day, Ukrainian aviation struck 13 areas of enemy manpower and equipment clusters and three positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. In addition, the Ukrainian air defense units shot down five UAVs and one Ka-52 enemy helicter.

The missile and artillery tros inflicted fire damage on more than 200 enemy objects, including 12 contr points, ammunition and fuel depots, artillery positions, and areas of personnel and military equipment clusters.
