Ukraine Air Force shows how Russian missiles get shot down

The Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has shared a video depicting the shooting down of Russian Kalibr-type missiles, which the enemy fired at the territory of Ukraine on September 11, 2022.

Yesterday, Russian tros fired 12 missiles, and nine of them were destroyed by Ukraine’s Air Force units.

The relevant video was posted by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

The video shows the combat performance of the S-300PT air defense systems, erated by the Ukrainian servicemen from the East Air Force Command.

“Around 08:30 p.m., September 11, 2022, [Russian] occupiers launched missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine. The missiles targeted the critical infrastructure of our state,” the report states.

According to the data from the Air Force Command, the enemy fired 12 sea- and air-launched Kalibr and Kh-101 cruise missiles. Nine out of 12 missiles were destroyed by the East and Center Air Command units of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

A reminder that, on September 11, 2022, Russian missiles struck energy infrastructure facilities in Dnipretrovsk Region. Some settlements and communities were left without electricity.
