Enemy concentrating efforts for offensive in Avdiivka, Bakhmut directions

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its latest war update published on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

The situation in the Vyn, Pissia, and Sivershchyna directions has not changed significantly. The enemy shelled civilian infrastructure near the villages of Shalyhine, Shevchenkove and Katerynivka in the Sumy Region using guns.

In the Kharkiv direction, the enemy used MLRS and guns to shell objects outside Kharkiv, Sosnivka, Dementiivka, Slatyne, Borshchoeva, Peremoha, Ruski Tyshky, Rubizhne, Lebiazhe, Mospanove, and Husarivka. UAVs were actively used to conduct aerial reconnaissance and adjust artillery fire.

In the Sloviansk direction, the enemy conducted combat erations with the aim of hding previously occupied lines and preventing the advance of Ukrainian units. Enemy forces continued to use tanks, guns and MLRS near Nortsivka, Dmytrivka, Dyna, Mazanivka and Bohorodychne.

On the Donetsk axis, the enemy is attempting to conduct assault and offensive erations, concentrating its efforts in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka area.

In the Kramatorsk direction, Russian forces shelled the positions of Ukrainian tros and civilian infrastructure using artillery systems near Ivano-Darivka, Serebrianka, Tetianivka, Hryhorivka, Zvanivka, and Rozdivka.

In the Bakhmut direction, areas outside Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Vesela Dyna, Maiorsk, Zaitseve, Sedar, Bilohorivka and Yakovlivka came under enemy fire. Near Sedar, Bakhmut and Kodema, the enemy waged an offensive battle, with no success.

In the Avdiiivka direction, the enemy used tanks, guns and MLRS near Nevelske, Vodiane, Netailove, Krasnohorivka, Novobakhmutivka, New York, Zalizne and ytne.

In the Novavlivka area, enemy units continued to fire at areas near Pavlivka, Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka, Vuhledar, Vodymyrivka, and Velyka Novosilka using tanks and artillery of various types.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the enemy shelled the areas of the settlements of Velykomykhailivka, Huliaipilske, Malynivka, Bilohiria, Dorozhnianka, Charivne, Orihiv, Mala Tokmachka, Shevchenko, Vremivka, Shcherbaky, Novosilka, Ptavka, and Novil.

In the Southern Bug direction, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing the advance of Ukrainian tros. It is taking measures to replenish losses.

Enemy forces shelled civilian and military infrastructure near Mykaiv, eksandrivka and 20 other settlements.

In the Black and Azov Seas, the Russian occupiers' naval group focuses its main efforts on conducting reconnaissance and blocking civilian shipping in the northwestern part of the Black Sea.
