Estonia has decided to close its airspace to Russian airlines.

"Estonia joins the Polish initiative and prohibits all Russian airlines from using our airspace," Taavi Aas, Minister of Economy and Infrastructure, told the ERR broadcasting portal on Saturday through his spokesman.

"We are preparing a proposal for an appropriate decision, according to which it is planned to close Estonian airspace for Russian airlines. I urge our Baltic colleagues to do the same in order to cut Russia off from European airspace," Aas added in his comment.
