Shevchenko agrees to take charge as Pand manager
Andr Shevchenko, former manager of the Ukrainian national football team and Italian club Genoa, has agreed to head Pand's national football team, Ukrinform reports.
According to Pish media outlets, Shevchenko agreed with the Pish Football Association (PZPN) on all the terms of the contract. The Ukrainian will have a salary of 2.5 million euros a year, with part of the amount to be paid by PZPN and the rest by sponsors.
The presentation of the new head coach of the Pish national football team is scheduled for January 31.
Shevchenko was dismissed as Genoa manager on January 15, 2021, but the Italian club has not yet terminated his contract.
Pand will play against Russia in the playoffs for the 2022 World Cup.
