Country loses $7.7 billion to tax evasion each year

According to tax chief Oleksiy Lyubchenko, envelope wages and value-added tax evasion are the most common schemes to dodge taxes in Ukraine. Out of $38.5 billion Ukraine collected in 2020, 58% came from VAT, corporate income and personal income taxes.
