State Property Fund sells UkrSpyrt factory for record $8.4 million

The State Property Fund has sold an alcohol factory in Poltava Oblast from the Ukrainian potable ethanol monopoly UkrSpyrt for a record $8.4 million, the fund announced on Dec. 18.

It is the 15th out of  78 UkrSpyrt factories sold in the auction in an attempt to break UkrSpyrt’s monopoly on the Ukrainian alcohol market.
