Movie star Timothee Chalamet wears merchandise of Ukrainian restaurant in New York


American movie star Timothee Chalamet poses for a photograph with a fan outside of Madison Square Garden in New York after presidential election early voting on Oct. 25. Chalamet was wearing a merchandise cap of Ukrainian cuisine restaurant Veselka, which had been founded by Ukrainian immigrants in New York’s East Village neighborhood in 1954.

One of the most celebrated actors of modern time, American Timothee Chalamet made a whole event out of his presidential election early voting, streaming it live on Instagram and encouraging others to follow.

But it wasn’t Chalamet’s civic position that captured the Ukrainian audience’s attention the most.
