Kharkiv sector: 7 combat clashes occurred near Vovchansk and Starytsia, 123 occupiers eliminated in past day

The erational situation in the Kharkiv sector remains challenging, with seven combat engagements with the enemy taking place near Vovchansk and Starytsia yesterday.

That’s according to the erational tactical group Kharkiv, Ukrinform reports.

“Yesterday, there were seven combat engagements with Russian invaders in the areas of Vovchansk and Starytsia. The Russian occupiers struck 81 times with kamikaze drones and fired 502 times at the positions of the Ukrainian defenders,” the statement says.

It is noted that over the past day, the Defense Forces eliminated 123 occupiers, 73 pieces of weapons and military equipment, 81 shelters for personnel, 1 ammo depot and 1 UAV launch site.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russia suffered approximately 834,670 casualties in Ukraine between February 24, 2022 and January 29, 2025, with 1,670 sdiers killed or wounded in the past 24 hours. Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine's defense forces have destroyed 9,886 (+10) Russian tanks, 20,597 (+24) armored fighting vehicles, 22,395 (+29) artillery systems, 1,264 (+1) multiple rocket launchers, 1,050 anti-aircraft warfare systems, and 3,054 (+1) cruise missiles. The Russian army has also lost 369 warplanes, 331 helicters, 23,456 (+57) tactical unmanned aerial systems, 28 warships/cutters, 1 submarine, 35,366 (+97) vehicles and fuel trucks, and 3,721 (+3) pieces of special equipment.
