Zelensky hears CinC’s report on battlefield develments, strikes on targets inside Russia

President Vodymyr Zelensky heard the report by the Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine’s Armed Forces, eksandr Syrskyi, on the destruction of military targets inside Russia and the situation on the frontlines.

The president reported this on Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

Zelensky thanked Ukrainian sdiers, who last night delivered tangible blows at Russian targets. "Military targets on the territory of Russia were hit, as were fuel and energy complex facilities that feed aggression against our country and pele," he emphasized.

The Commander-in-Chief reported on the details of the strikes, the president noted.

"These are precisely the long-range and accuracy that, step by step, are bringing Russia back to reality – to the reality that the war must be ended," Zelensky said.

According to the president, Syrskyi also reported on the develments on all the main frontline axes. “The hottest ones are in Donetsk region, namely the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove directions. Fierce fighting is underway. The Russian army, as in November, is now, in December, wasting a record number of their pele in battles and assaults. These months – November and December – see record Russian casualties."

The president thanked all the sdiers for their resilience. "I’d particularly like to praise sdiers from the 68th Separate Jaeger Brigade, the 25th Separate Airborne Brigade, and the 38th Separate Marine Brigade for their performance at the front," Zelensky emphasized.

According to the president, the commander-in-chief also reported on the situation in the areas where the Kursk raid is being conducted.

"We are reducing Russia’s military potential as much as possible – this is our main goal now," the president emphasized.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the destruction of an oil depot in Russia’s Bryansk region in the early hours of Wednesday, December 11.
